Friday, November 20 & Saturday, November 21, 2015 @ 11am – 9pm: Opening Weekend of the Denver Christkindl Market at Skyline Park

European quaintness in the heart of BroDo? Yes, it’s true. Skyline Park has once again been transformed into a traditional German Christmas Market. German music, big beers, a heated beer tent, Gluhwein, soft pretzels, Christmas knickknacks, and twinkling lights will round out this festive experience. Friday, November 20 & Saturday, November 21, 2015 @ 5pm – midnight: Night Bazaar at 2450 Larimer Street

From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the new & improved Night Bazaar! This time around, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious homemade food, craft beer and cocktails, artisan vendors, soulful music, and a food truck garden on both Friday and Saturday nights. Come shop, sip, and eat. No cover and a great way to start your weekend.

Friday, November 20, 2015 @ 6 – 9pm: Movember Rolling For Rotary at the EXDO Event Center

Before the main Roll event (see below) come on out for karaoke, door prizes, a mustache contest, and cash bar! Your entry gets you unlimited karaoke, access to awesome door prizes, appetizers, and tons of fun – all while supporting the #EndPolioNow campaign, local nonprofits, NE Denver Public Schools, and RAFT ColoradoAdvance tickets are $20 (+ service fee). All tickets include skate rental for the night, entry into Roll: Mustache Ride…and of course all the funs!

Friday, November 20, 2015 @ 8pm: Soulfax on Broadway at Hi-Dive

An all-vinyl dance party featuring soul, funk, R&B, girl groups, psych invasion, and global sounds brought to you by DJ Rett Rogers and Scott Beck of The Blue Rider. FREE.

Friday, November 20, 2015 @ 9pm: Roll: Mustache Ride at the Exdo Event Center

Roll is a monthly themed, old-school roller-skating party, complete with flashing lights, music, karaoke, sippy cup drinks, dancing, and ping-pong! This month, attendees are encouraged to take a ride on the mustache train for the Movember Roll Spectacular! To raise awareness of men’s health issues, grow/make a mustache of your own or grab one at the door, lace up them skates, and head on down to mustache town! FREE admission between 9 – 10pm and $5 afterwards (or get advance tickets, which include skate rental). This event is 21+; sign your waiver ahead of time and avoid the line!

Friday, November 20, 2015 @ 9pm: Lipgloss at Bar Standard

Beautiful babies of Denver, come dance it out at Denver’s favorite indie rock dance night in its new home with DJ Hollow, resident DJ Tower, and special guest, Spencer Moody of The Murder City Devils. FREE PBR between 9 and 10pm with a paid cover; only $5, courtesy of Sacred Seed.

Voted Best of Westword, the Sugar Plum Bazaar offers a curated collection of over 80 local and small businesses showcasing handmade, vintage, and unique goodies and gifts. Bazaar is open on Saturday from 10am – 7pm and Sunday from 10am – 4pm. This event is FREE to attend, but donations for the Colorado Ballet Scholarship Foundation will be taken at the door.

Saturday, November 21, 2015 @ 2 – 3pm: Haunting: Victoria Lundy on Theremin at the Denver Central Library

Fresh City Life is pleased to host the library’s first theremin concert. This rare instrument was invented by Leon Theremin nearly 100 years ago and is one of the oldest electronic musical instruments. The fascinating interaction between the player and the instrument is a marvel; the musician’s every motion controls and affects the pitch and volume. FREE.

Saturday, November 21, 2015 @ 9pm: So What! Classic Edition at Pearl’s

Denver’s funkiest monthly is back for another classic edition! The So What! DJs will be on hand spinning future beats, groovy soul, and all types of funky stuff! If it’s jazzy, deep, and dancable – it’s fair game! No cover before 10pm; $5 afterwards.

Sunday, November 22, 2015 @ 1 – 3pm: Thanks-living Open Farm and Market Day at Broken Shovels Farm

Come celebrate the lives of our turkey brothers and all the other animals who call this farm home. There will be lots of vendors, a cheese tasting, vegan baked goods, a toasty fire, and the now-famous grilled cheese and jam sandwiches. Bundle up and snuggle with some of the warmest-hearted animals you’ll ever meet. No entry fee.
