European quaintness in the heart of BroDo? Yes, it’s true. Skyline Park has once again been transformed into a traditional German Christmas Market. German music, big beers, a heated beer tent, Gluhwein, soft pretzels, Christmas knickknacks, and twinkling lights will round out this festive experience. From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the new & improved Night Bazaar! Friday, December 18, 2015 @ 7:30pm: Films on Tap: Die Hard Double Feature at the Sie FilmCenter

It’s two Die Hards for the price of one! Die Hard begins at 7:30pm, Die Hard 2: Die Harder begins at 10pm. The first 50 guests to either film receive a FREE drink! Tickets run $7 – $11. Please drink and watch responsibly; only guests 21 and over will be allowed to attend Films on Tap screenings.

Friday, December 18, 2015, doors at 8pm: Stand By Your Band at Syntax Physic Opera

The whole premise of the night is simple: members of local bands get traded and sorted into brand new supergroups. Each group then plays one song by a local band, plus three covers. Participants include members from Somerset Catalog, Altas, Montropo, Perry Weissman 3, Le Divorce, Ark Life, and more. $7 cover.

Friday, December 18, 2015 @ 9pm: Roll: Ugly Sweater Part III at the Exdo Event Center

Roll is a monthly themed, old-school roller-skating party, complete with flashing lights, music, karaoke, sippy cup drinks, dancing, and ping-pong! This month, the annual ugly sweater roller skate party returns…and this time, it’s bigger than ever. Dust off that sweater your g-mama made you, lace up them skates, and come party with Santa himself. One bartender will be named victorious and move forward in the competition, whilst the audience enjoys tasting and laughing at the results. Tonight’s comedians include Aaron Urist, Brian Hocker, Adam Cayton-Holland, and headliner, Josh Blur. Hosted by Meghan DePonceau and Anthony Crawford. $5 cover; $5 cocktails.
