Friday, March 4 & Saturday, March 5, 2016 @ 2pm – midnight: Night Bazaar at 2450 Larimer Street

From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the new and improved Night Bazaar! This time around, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious homemade food, craft beer and cocktails, artisan vendors, soulful music, and a food truck garden on both Friday and Saturday nights. Happy hour from 2 – 6pm and 10pm – midnight. No cover and a great way to start your weekend!

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 5 – 9pm: Grand Opening of Feral Mountain Co.

Come on out for great stories, beer from Small Batch Liquors, and samplings from Fourpoints Bar. Free Nalgene bottle with any in-store purchase during the event. Event runs until 9pm (or later if there’s still beer). FREE.

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 5 – 9pm: Wine + Catz at Denver Cat Company

Come celebrate First Friday with Wine + Catz, back by popular demand! Spend time with the awesome cats of Denver’s premier cat cafe and enjoy a glass of wine sponsored by Apollo Peak Cat Wine, maker of The Pinot Meow – a wine for cats. Bonus hilarity – watch cats get drunk off of cat wine! Cover is $5 and includes wine #meow #hiccup

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 6 – 8pm: Black Sheep Fridays: Bingo-a-Go-Go at the MCA Denver

Mixing hip with the weird, Black Sheep Fridays run weekly March 4 to April 29, from 6 – 8pm in the MCA Café. Visitors can stop by anytime during the evening to experience the fun (happy hour runs from 5 – 7pm). This week’s theme is Bingo-a Go-Go, featuring bingo, go-go dancers, and drag queens. Free for members, $5 for regular people.

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 6 – 9pm: First Friday at Ink Lounge

This month, the Ink Lounge is showcasing local designers, illustrators, and screenprinters at their First Friday event. All the work on display is screenprinted and will be for sale during the event. Some new work, some past work – all in all a diverse mix of styles from some very talented individuals. There will also be adult beverages and snacks to keep your belly happy. This event is FREE.

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 7 – 9pm: Conveners at RedLine

This First Friday, celebrate Denver’s Month of Printmaking at the sleek, nonprofit contemporary arts center, RedLine. Conveners is a group exhibition that builds upon the precedent of printmakers exploring collaboration by highlighting the work of thirteen artist printmakers and their varying approaches to collaboration as a means to create original works. FREE.

Friday, March 4, 2016, doors at 7pm, show at 8pm: Open Music Sessions w/ Space in Time at Denver Open Media (DOM)

This First Friday, visit YOUR community access television station for a live, intimate studio performance by Space in Time and a joke-telling set by Greg Hutt. Additionally, there will be FREE food from Illegal Pete’s and cheap drinks. Haaaaaaaaay. This event is FREE and located along the Santa Fe First Friday Art Walk.

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 9pm: Ready Set Go at the Goosetown Tavern

Start your weekend with dancing + drinks! Ready Set Go will be spinning the best in Soul, Go-Go, Surf, Oldies, 60’s, Rock, and more! No cover.

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 9pm: Lipgloss at Bar Standard

Beautiful babies of Denver, come dance it out at Denver’s favorite indie rock dance night with DJs Hollow and DJ Tower. Hear great music that you won’t hear anywhere else, dance until your legs are weak, and drink until you’ve shown your liver who’s boss. They’ll also be giving away tickets to David Cross (for realsies), Nerd Prom, and Holy Holy so get there! No cover before 10pm, $5 afterwards.

Friday, March 4, 2016 @ 10pm: Guilty Pleasures at Hi-Dive

Denver! You’ve already hit up a handful of First Friday events and are just buzzed up enough to start dancing…now what? Cue Guilty Pleasures – a party dedicated to cheesy awesome dance jams. (If you haven’t been before, this party is F-U-N.) When in doubt, grind it out. $5 cover; now located at the Hi-Dive.

Saturday, March 5, 2016 @ 11am – 12pm: Yoga at Ratio Beerworks

This isn’t your mama’s yoga class. Participants will be flowing to the tunes of Hot Water Music and Fugazi to name a few, so come ready to party. Registration costs $15 and includes one brew. Please bring your own yoga mat and towel. 21+

Saturday, March 5, 2016, doors at 7pm, show at 8pm: Nerd Prom at Summit Music Hall

Come celebrate not having to be cool with a bunch of like-minded, friendly folks. Tickets include live music, DJ, photobooth, cosplay contest, dancing, smiles, and memories. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show, $50 VIP.

Saturday, March 5, 2016 @ 9pm: Mile High Soul Club at Syntax Physic Opera

The warmer weather is a-comin’, can you feel it? This month, DJs Tyler Jacobson and Steve Cervantes will be doing their thang, alongside special guests Jason Heller and Devil One. They’ll be playing the best soul, funk, and R&B so strap on those dancing shoes and come shake what your mama gave you…only 5 bucks!

For the last first Monday of the month, come listen, watch, and/or participate in this variety show/open mic. This month’s feature is Gary Daniels. Open mic begins at 7pm and the feature starts at 8:30pm for audience donations.

This particular line of work can be describe as “fascinating, seductive, displacing and enthralling, bearing qualities of Surrealism and Dada”. This opening celebration will include DJ Fancy Matthew spinning indie rock and electro, with complimentary adult beverages + hors d’oeuvres. This event is FREE and open to the public.
