From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the new and improved Night Bazaar! Friday, March 11, 2016 @ 6 – 8pm: Black Sheep Fridays: Stitch & Switch at the MCA Denver

Mixing hip with the weird, Black Sheep Fridays run weekly March 4 to April 29, from 6 – 8pm in the MCA Café. Visitors can stop by anytime during the evening to experience the fun (happy hour runs from 5 – 7pm). This week’s theme is Stitch & Switch where guests will be invited to assemble their own mutant stuffed animals. Free for members, $5 for regular people.

Late Night at the Bug is a rowdy and raucous comedy show featuring national talent and some of Denver’s best comics telling jokes you won’t hear on radio or TV. For the inaugural show, former Denverite Ben Kronberg, will be making up the funnies, along with Sam Tallent, Zach Reinert, and Mallory Wallace. Hosted by David Rodriguez, this one will be good. Tickets are $10.

Friday, March 11, 2016 @ 10pm: Films on Tap: The Goonies at the Sie FilmCenter

You’ve played drinking games at home, now play them with the Denver Film Society! They’ll give you the rules and thanks to Breckenridge Brewery, the first 50 guests get their first drink on the house! Drink specials run all night long, with a bar in the theater so you won’t miss a second of the movie (thank god). Tickets run $7 – $11. Calling Denver gardeners and veggie-lovers alike! The GrowHaus invites you to their 6th annual Seed Swap. This winter, the Clyfford Still Museum is partnering with the Friends of Chamber Music and Swallow Hill Music to present live music in the galleries. The series continues on Sunday with a performance by the Dustin Adams Trio. Inspired by Still’s own record collection, the group will perform jazz from the 1930s and early ’40s. Don’t miss this exciting new way to enjoy the museum. Free with museum admission ($6 – $10).

Every month, hosts Theresa Mercado and Ian O’Dougherty screen a film by Joel & Ethan Coen (in order of theatrical release), preceded by a short musical selection performed by a local musician, celebrating the magnificence, importance, and variety of music from that film. This week, the Denver Film Society will be kicking off its sixth annual Women + Film Festival, which runs Tuesday, March 15th through Sunday, March 20th. Ladies, this is where you’ll want to go for a good healthy dose of inspiration. Dudes, this is where you’ll want to go to learn how to stop being such a dude all of the time. In addition to a number of award-winning films, the festival also includes salon discussions, in-person guests, and receptions to further celebrate the thought-provoking, inspirational stories of women from around the world. You’re bound to be a flip-flopper after listening to compelling arguments on things that never mattered. This month’s theme? Erin Go Bragh vs. Going Braless.
