WEEKLY EVENTS: December 27, 2013 – January 2, 2014

1493525_227776670729362_489365371_oGreetings from the Illadelph!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas week and is looking forward to a new start in 2014.

I tend to make resolutions each year, not so much to try and “fix” myself, but more so to identify concrete goals to work towards.  As I get older, the years seem to pass faster and faster, and I have realised I need to be more intentional about the things I want to have/create in my life.  If not, I’ll be 80-years old before I know it and still without an on-screen kiss with Ryan Gosling!  (JK.  Although I wouldn’t mind giving him a hug in some hipster bar.)

Here are some of my goals.  Please leave a comment if you have a big one you’d like to share or if you want to steal one of mine.  And happy 2014!

In 2014:
at least 2 stress-free vacations (via airplane)
put my apartment on Airbnb
run at least 3 races
visit 2 new cities
pay off credit cards (for reals)
continue blogging at least once a week
eat more vegetables
believe in love
forgive.

Peep the list below for stuff to do in town and as always, check-out Westword’s 10 things to do for $10 in Denver blog for free/low-cost events this weekend.
