WEEKLY EVENTS: April 24, 2015 – April 30, 2015
Denver! Have you ever walked by a building or a house and been like, “I wanna get all up in that”? Well, this Saturday and Sunday, the Denver Architectural Foundation invites you to celebrate Denver’s unique architectural landscape by taking part in the 11th anniversary of Doors Open Denver. This FREE event gives you the opportunity to experience the built environment of 50 sites, and visit many buildings that are typically not open to the public. Learn more and see more of Denver.
Below is just a mere sampling of all the other cool stuff going on this week, so dress in layers, bring your umbrella, and go have some fun.
(And as per youzh, check-out Westword’s 10 things to do for $10 in Denver blog for free/low-cost events this weekend, including the Denver Music Summit at the McNichols Civic Center Building, Drag in the City at Tracks, and the Fantastic Rumpus in the Park at City Park.)
Super funny super team delivers stand-up, sketch comedy, and hilariously polished videos at the Bug. These shows will also serve as a send-off to the Grawlix boys before they head off to LA, where they will inevitably develop drug addictions and a penchant for roller-blading and beach volleyball. Come say your goodbyes/confess your undying loves! Both nights will be jammed with talent, including a whole slew of local funny peeps and classic Kyle Kinane. Doors at 10pm; show at 10:30pm. 10 bucks to get in; come early or be denied (and then what are you going to do, huh?)
From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the all-new Friday Night Bazaar. And if you haven’t been, you are seriously missing out.
