It’s also predicted to be a hot one, so be sure to slather yourself with your highest SPF and stay hydrated (on something other than an oversized metal bottle of Coors Light).

OPA!  Get your Greek on at the annual Denver Greek Festival!  Festival-goers will enjoy food, dancing, live music, kids’ activities, beer, wine, cooking demos, more food, and more dancing.  Friday & Saturday 11am – 11pm; Sunday 11am – 6pm.  Admission is $5/person; children under 12 are free.

Friday, June 19, 2015 @ 6 – 8pm: B-Side Music Fridays w/ Ambit + Dream Hike at the MCA Denver

B-Side Music Fridays is a live music series where guests can enjoy an intimate performance by Denver’s top indie musicians, while sipping on crafted cocktails and taking in some of the sweetest views in town.  Tonight’s performers are Ambit + Dream Hike.  Happy hour from 5 – 7pm; live performance from 6 – 8pm.  Free for MCA members; $5 for regular people.

Friday, June 19, 2015 @ 7pm: Salad Days: A Decade of Punk in Washington, DC at the Mutiny Information Cafe

Salad Days is an informative and engaging experience that details one of the most important and influential scenes in punk history and is a must-watch for fans of the genre.  Hosted by Mike Salkind and Jay Fox from No Trend and United Mutation, respectively.  Live music will follow the screening by The Pollution and Mike/Jay performing songs from their collective past.  Limited seating available; a measly $6 to get in.

Saturday, June 20 & Sunday, June 21, 2015Denver PrideFest at Civic Center Park

Pride is turning 40!  Join over 365,000 other proud Coloradans this weekend for what is recognized as one of the best LGBT events in the country.  Denver PrideFest, an empowering two-day celebration at Civic Center Park, features live music, disco brunch, the Denver Dyke March, PrideFest Parade, Big Gay 5K, and so much more.  It’s gonna be a hot one, so make sure you wear the glitter with SPF 50.  Festivities run 11am – 7pm on Saturday and 10am – 6pm on Sunday.  FREE.

Saturday, June 20, 2015 @ 9am – 2pm: Denver Street Flea Market at 25th & Larimer Streets

Held from 9am to 2pm rain or shine every third Saturday of the month, the Denver Street Flea Market is a secondhand-only market featuring merchandise from independent sellers, as well as local shops and vendors from around Denver.  Live entertainment, food specials from 25th & Larimer tenants and food trucks will round out the offerings for patrons.  FREE.

Saturday, June 20, 2015 @ 10am – 1:30pm (or until goods run out): Le Jardin Secret at Bistro Vendome

Le Jardin Secret is not your average summer market.  At this French-inspired chefs’ market, foodies can shop for dairy, meat, bread, produce, and other goods – all with a mimosa in hand.  Free parking is available on the top levels of the Larimer Square Garage (14th and Market Streets) during market hours to the first 40 customers.  Customers must ask for a validation pass from the Mile High Business Alliance representative at the Le Jardin Secret welcome booth.  FREE.

Saturday, June 20, 2015 @ 12 – 7:30pm: TheBigWonderful at Sustainability Park

This new outdoor market will be made up of art, craft, food and beer with a touch of an old-school carnival.  There will be 50+ vendors, old-school carnival games and snacks, a vintage moped and scooter show, a beer patio, food trucks, free t-shirt screen printing for kids, a chainsaw carving demo, bobbing for whiskey, live music, a free shuttle to/from the Alameda light rail station, and of course clowns – heaps and heaps of clowns.  FREE man sacks brimming with goodies, available to the first 50 attendees.  This event is FREE.
