WEEKLY EVENTS: November 20, 2015 – November 26, 2015
I just started moving into our new house and am losing my shit – Lord have mercy.
I hope you can all bear with me this week and forgive any minor typos and what not…am just trying to hold it together at this point (!)
But you all should go have some fun and be thankful that you are in one place this weekend, xoxo.
(And as per youzh, check-out Westword’s 10 things to do for $10 in Denver blog for free/low-cost events this weekend, including Mercado de Navidad at Museo De Las Americas and the Grand Opening at Rab.)
European quaintness in the heart of BroDo? Yes, it’s true. Skyline Park has once again been transformed into a traditional German Christmas Market. German music, big beers, a heated beer tent, Gluhwein, soft pretzels, Christmas knickknacks, and twinkling lights will round out this festive experience. Peep their website for daily hours and entertainment.
From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the new & improved Night Bazaar! This time around, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious homemade food, craft beer and cocktails, artisan vendors, soulful music, and a food truck garden on both Friday and Saturday nights. Come shop, sip, and eat. No cover and a great way to start your weekend.
Before the main Roll event (see below) come on out for karaoke, door prizes, a mustache contest, and cash bar! Advance tickets are $20 (+ service fee). All tickets include skate rental for the night, entry into Roll: Mustache Ride…and of course all the funs!

Roll is a monthly themed, old-school roller-skating party, complete with flashing lights, music, karaoke, sippy cup drinks, dancing, and ping-pong! This month, attendees are encouraged to take a ride on the mustache train for the Movember Roll Spectacular! To raise awareness of men’s health issues, grow/make a mustache of your own or grab one at the door, lace up them skates, and head on down to mustache town! FREE admission between 9 – 10pm and $5 afterwards (or get advance tickets, which include skate rental). This event is 21+; sign your waiver ahead of time and avoid the line!

Fresh City Life is pleased to host the library’s first theremin concert. This rare instrument was invented by Leon Theremin nearly 100 years ago and is one of the oldest electronic musical instruments. The fascinating interaction between the player and the instrument is a marvel; the musician’s every motion controls and affects the pitch and volume. FREE.
