Friday, March 25 & Saturday, March 27, 2016 @ 2pm – midnight: Night Bazaar at 2450 Larimer Street

From the folks that brought you TheBigWonderful comes the new and improved Night Bazaar! This time around, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious homemade food, craft beer and cocktails, artisan vendors, soulful music, and a food truck garden on both Friday and Saturday nights. Happy hour from 2 – 6pm and 10pm – midnight. No cover and a great way to start your weekend!

Friday, March 25, 2016 @ 6 – 8pm: Black Sheep Fridays: Mad Max Purim at the MCA Denver

Mixing hip with the weird, Black Sheep Fridays run weekly March 4 to April 29, from 6 – 8pm in the MCA Café. Visitors can stop by anytime during the evening to experience the fun (happy hour runs from 5 – 7pm). This week’s theme is Mad Max Purim, where guests are invited to dress for the fury road with Klezmer music and hamantaschen. Free for members, $5 for regular people.

Friday, March 25, 2016 @ 6 – 10pm: Untitled: Risky Business at the Denver Art Museum

Untitled Final Fridays feature behind-the-scenes tours, performances by local artists, opportunities to make and create, and much more. Top it off with a cash bar, munchies, and a dose of the unexpected, and you’ve got a great night out. This month’s theme is Risky Business: throw caution to the wind and dive into dicey situations and downright dangerous occupations. Friday, March 25, 2016 @ 9pm: Lipgloss w/ Daniel Ash + Kevin Haskins at Bar Standard

Come on out for an extra special edition of Lipgloss with Daniel Ash + Kevin Haskins of Bauhaus/Love & Rockets/Tones On Tail joining DJs Hollow and Tower in the DJ booth. In addition to making you dance your face off, around midnight they’ll be giving away tickets to catch Leather Strip at the Oriental Theater. Tickets are $10.

Spangalang is hosting an opening for local artist, Paul Vismara, this Saturday afternoon. This event will also feature the progressive old-school sounds of Space Orphan and as always, amazing snacks will be available from ZIVIX Five Points. No cover.

Saturday, March 26, 2016 @ 1pm & 3pm: Duck Duck Dupe at Buntport Theater

On the final Saturday of each month, Buntport presents you with three stories related to a theme. Two of these tales are true, but one of them is nothing but a fib. Can you figure out which one is baloney? Fun for all ages (seriously grown-ups, this is an event that both you and your kids will enjoy), cute contests, and prizes to boot. Tickets are just $6 – $8, with $1 off if you dress like a duck. (So in other words, whatever you were planning to wear that day anyway.)

Saturday, March 26, 2016 @ 2:30 – 4pm: Coffee Talk with a Choreographer at Wonderbound Studio

Arrive at Wonderbound’s studio space anytime between 2:30pm and 3:15pm to observe the rehearsal for Wonderbound’s upcoming show, “Dust,”. Sip a delicious cup of coffee and enjoy a tasty treat. When the dancers take their break at 3:15pm, Wonderbound’s Producing Director, Dawn Fay, will chat with Coffee Talk attendees about the process of creating an original dance performance and will answer questions. This event is FREE, but you must RSVP ahead of time.

Saturday, March 26, 2016 @ 5pm – midnight: Punk Gives Back Clothing Drive at Illegal Pete’s – South Broadway

Spring cleaning alert! Punk Gives Back is organizing a clothing drive at Illegal Pete’s – South Broadway. Bring your gently used clothing or housewares for donation to Urban Peak, the only non-profit in Denver that offers a full convergence of services for youth who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. The clothing drive is 5pm – midnight; live music from Cory Call, Ross Hostage, and Stacy Fitzpatrick starts at 9pm! This event is FREE.

One night only! A chance meeting in a parking lot in 1979 between filmmaker Trent Harris and a young man from Beaver, Utah inspired the creation of an underground film that is now known as Beaver Trilogy. But the film itself is only part of the story. Tickets run $7 – $11.
