Friday, January 16, 2015 @ 5 – 8pm: Tequila Tasting at Museo de las Americas

¡Arriba, abajo, al centro, pa’ dentro!  Join Museo de las Americas and Tequila Proximus for a very special Spanish Happy Hour.  Help give a lasting toast to the El Brindis Remixed exhibit and all of the playful characters featured, as this exhibit will be retired.  Tickets are $5 for the public and $3 for Museo members.

Roll is a monthly themed roller-skating party in the EXDO Event Center, complete with skate rental, mind-blowing audio and visuals, and of course, sippy cup cocktails for one helluva party!  Tonight’s theme is Black Light Roller Rave…so don your brightest whites and prepare for a night filled with skating, drinking, dancing, karaoke, and ping-pong!  FREE admission between 9 – 10pm and $5 afterwards. Drop your child off to tinker the afternoon away.  Kids will have access to tools, materials, and art supplies to build and play to their little heart’s content while you get your errands done run.  Participants will learn the basics of tool safety and workshop etiquette under the supervision of a licensed art teacher and momma of two little makers.  Appropriate for ages 4+; kids ages 2 – 3 years may attend with an adult.  $25 per session.  Space is limited to 8 participants each week; pre-pay online to reserve your spot.

Saturday, January 17, 2015 @ 2pm: Member Appreciation Party at the Denver Tool Library

The Denver Tool Library is throwing a thank-you party for its members (and community people who may be curious about the project).  Come celebrate with live music, beers and, of course, ping-pong.  Face Man, Strange Americans, and Blanket Empire will be performing outdoors, so dress appropriately.  Free for members; $5 or a tool donation for non-members.
