Friday, March 27 & Saturday, March 28, 2015: Weekend of Story & Craft at Huckleberry Roasters (2 locations)
Fellow Magazine and Huckleberry Roasters are getting together for two days to celebrate story and craft. Event runs Friday from 7 – 9pm (beer + coffee provided) at their Pecos location and on Saturday from 12 – 5pm at their Larimer location. View event line-up here. FREE.
Friday, March 27, 2015 @ 6 – 8pm: Black Sheep Fridays at the MCA Denver
Mixing hip with the weird, Black Sheep Fridays runs weekly January 23 to March 27, from 6 – 8pm in the MCA Café. Visitors can stop by anytime during the evening to experience the fun (happy hour runs from 5 – 7pm). This week’s theme is Pee-wee’s Museum Adventure: Come celebrate Pee-wee Herman’s birthday with a bow tie contest, a secret word, and more. Free for members, $5 for regular people.

Untitled Final Fridays feature behind-the-scenes tours, performances by local artists, opportunities to make and create, and much more. Top it off with a cash bar, munchies, and a dose of the unexpected, and you’ve got a great night out. This month’s theme is Dream On. Choose the “sleepy” track or the “awake” track and see where the night takes you! This event is included in regular museum admission; college students with valid ID receive 2-for-1 admission. Saturday, March 28 & Sunday, March 29, 2015: Colorado Cactus & Succulent Society Annual Show and Sale at Denver Botanic Gardens
The Colorado Cactus and Succulent Society will host one of Colorado’s largest cactus and succulent events at Denver Botanic Gardens this (sunny!) weekend. This is often the only opportunity the public can purchase unique and rare plants from expert growers from around the country, as well as attend free workshops and demos. Event runs Saturday from 9am – 5pm and Sunday 9am – 4pm. Admission to the Colorado Cactus Show and Sale is included in the regular DBG entrance fee.
